Joker Juice

Joker Juice

1) Break up the jelly cubes and place in a jug.

2) Melt the jelly with boiling water. Once all the jelly has mixed with the boiling water, top up with cold water and pour the jelly mix into glasses with straws. Add less water than the packet suggests so it sets a little firmer.

3) Leave for a few hours in the fridge for the jelly to set.

4) Find a squash that matches the colour of the jelly and serve in the same glass with a straw.

1) Mash the avocado with a fork or electric hand whisk until it is silky smooth.

2) Add lots of lemon juice to the avocado.

3) Use Morrisons ready made buttercream icing and add green, yellow and black food colouring. Add the colouring until you achieve the same colour as the avocado icing.

4) Pipe or spread the different icings onto un-iced Morrisons fairy cakes and add googly eyes to finish.

Shock-o-late Truffles

1) Melt dark chocolate in a bowl over a pan filled with hot water on the hob, or simply melt in a bowl using a microwave.

2) If the chocolate is really runny, leave it to cool for a few minutes so it does not slide off the sprouts.

3) Dip raw sprouts that are similar sizes to the Morrisons chocolate truffles in the melted chocolate and place on a tray to chill.

4) Once the chocolate has started to set, dust all over or roll in cocoa powder.

5) Mix Morrisons The Best Chocolate Truffles and the chocolate covered sprouts together in a bowl.

Hedgekinhog Pumpkin

This one's a cute-yet-creepy idea for Halloween craft time with the kids, and will light up your table or doorstep. Use LED fairy lights for a flame-free decoration on your doorstep or in the home, and create a petrifying pet for 31st October.

Glitter-ball Pumpkin

Get your glitter on with the kids this Halloween and make a simple, sparkly decoration or two for the doorstep. We've used Halloween-purple for ours, but you can mix things up and sprinkle different combinations for yours.

'Crying Crayons'

Crying Crayons Pumpkin

This one needs a little help from the adults when melting the crayons, but the kids get to do the crafty part by sticking them onto your pumpkin and creating the rainbow pattern. The more colourful the better, and you can create different looks like black and red for a dracula theme...or lots of different greens for a zombie centrepiece.
