Whatever the occasion, raise a glass to the good times with a beer keg. Each one holds 5 litres (8 pints), so they're ideal for hosting a get-together, taking along to a party to save carrying cans and bottles, or packing for festivals and camping trips where boot space-saving and practicality are as important as choosing a tasty drop to drink.

“We’re always looking to give our customers new ways to enjoy good food and drink. We’re doing that by offering popular beers in five litre kegs.”
James Child, Ales Buying Manager at Morrisons

Classic Beer Favourites

Now available in 5 litre kegs, a number of 'classic' beers are proving popular for summertime get-togethers. Marston's Pedigree has a fascinating aroma with a palate of biscuity malt, spicy hops and light fruitiness, while Paul Theakston's Black Sheep Best Bitter is a classic session beer that combines peppery fuggle hops, grassy freshness and a good old Yorkshire bite. For something a little different the renowned Hobgoblin is a full-bodied ruby beer that delivers a delicious chocolate toffee malt flavour, but if you prefer Amercian Pale Ales, try Shipyard with its Chinook, Cascade, Columbus and Centennial hops and brash flavours.

Hidden Gems

These kegs are great if you want to tray something new this summer, and take a quirky pour with you to a barbecue - or on a festival or camping trip. Devil's Backbone hails from The USA's Blue Ridge Mountains and is full of Virginia spirit, with citrus-pine notes and a snappy hoppiness. Pale Aura is unfiltered and naturally hazy, with fruity kicks of mango, grapefruit and pineapple - while Ghost Ship is more citrusy and biscuity. For fans of beer that has a little more rock n roll to it, Iron Maiden Trooper harnesses strong malt flavours and Goldings/Cascade hops with a subtle lemon zest.
