How our support will help CLIC Sargent do even more great work
CLIC Sargent already does wonderful work, and has done for almost 50 years. Now with our help, the charity will be able to go even further for families by creating a brand new team of nurses to educate other health, social care and education professionals and give them the skills and experience to provide the best possible care. We’ll also raise money to help CLIC Sargent provide grants to families, helping them cope with the financial consequences of a cancer diagnosis.
In addition, our partnership will help CLIC Sargent create new ‘Home Hubs’ close to hospitals. The idea is to make sure the children they support are just a ‘slipper-walk’ away from the medical support they need, with a chance to relax in a comfortable place where they can spend quality family time together as they wait for treatment.
