As part of our Make Good Things Happen initiative to bring hope to the nation we've created a new book to continue to support children's literacy - Cedric the Seed.

Join Cedric on his journey from a little seed to a tall sunflower - in a story full of unexpected adventure, friendship and fun.

Inspired by the pandemic and how lives were changed in an instant, this is a story of hope for a brighter future supporting children's literacy and learning.

We've donated 50,000 copies of this book to local schools and community groups.

Morrisons Little Library

We've launched a book donation and exchange station for children – the Morrisons Little Library – in stores across the UK which aims to promote reading and literacy in children, particularly those who come from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Morrisons Little Library exchanges are being set up in stores across the UK from this week. You can bring along unwanted books to donate and all children, teenagers and parents can pick up a book for free. Books will also be donated through the initiative to local schools and community groups, via Morrisons Community Champions.
