Christmas Collector App FAQs

Q. How does the Christmas Collector scheme work?

A. Customers will receive a digital offer in the ‘My Offers’ section of the My Morrisons App. The customer needs to click the ‘Activate Now’ button no later than the 20th November 2022. The customer will then need to spend the required amount in 4 out of the specified 5 weeks to qualify for their bonus digital money-off offer.

Q. Why do I have to click the ‘Activate Now’ button?

A. The customer must click the ‘Activate Now’ button in the first two weeks of the scheme to let us know that they are participating in the scheme, so we can calculate their weekly spends and send them regular email communications on how they are getting on in the scheme.

Q. I shopped in Week 1 (between 7th November – 13th November) and spent the correct amount but didn’t click the ‘Activate Now’ until Week 2 14th November – 20th November, will my Week 1 shops still count? 

A. Yes, as long as you have used your My Morrisons card every time you shopped and spent the correct amount it will still count. You must activate no later than the 20th November 2022.

Q. Can I split my spend over several smaller shops rather than in just one transaction?

A. Yes, you can shop as little and as often as you like within a week to build up your total, this includes any shops you do both in store and online as long as you scan your My Morrisons card with each transaction. For example your target spend for Week 1 may be £60, you shop in store on Monday and spend £33, Tuesday spend £5 and Friday spend £27 – your total for the week would be: £65, meaning you have hit your Week 1 spend of £60. 

Q. I shop both in store and online - will my weekly total include both?

A. Yes, as long as you scan your My Morrisons card when shopping in store and have your My Morrisons card linked to your online account we will combine your total spend at Morrisons for the week. Online spend will only qualify in the week that you receive a delivery, your spend will appear on your app up to 72 hours after you have received your delivery. This also includes Click & Collect, Food to order, Nutmeg online etc.

Q. Can I use my colleague or family and friend Morrisons discount?

A. Yes and remember your spend amount is calculated before the colleague or family and friend discount.

Q: How is the spend amount calculated?

A. Your spend target is personalised to each customer and is based on how much you spent across 4 separate periods (2nd May -  26th June, Christmas 2022, Christmas  2021 and Easter 2022). It’s worth remembering that if you share your My Morrisons card or Staff Discount card with anyone else in your household, their spend in those periods will also be counted as we have no way of identifying when you shop versus someone else in your household.

Q. When do I get my Christmas Collector Bonus?

A. When you have completed 4 out of 5 shops you will qualify for the bonus offer. The bonus will then be loaded to your ‘My Offers’ section of the My Morrisons app from the 14th December. You will have until the 3rd January 2023 to redeem your bonus offer. Terms and conditions will apply.

Q. Can I use my bonus off in store and online

A.Once you have activated the campaign by clicking ‘Activate Now’ you will need to select how you want to receive your bonus money-off offer, either loaded to card to use in store or via an e code to use online. You cannot change your mind once selected.

Q. What happens if I lose my card / my card is stolen?

A. You have 24/7 access to your digital card in the My Morrisons App. Alternatively you can request a new physical card via the App or your online account.

Q. It’s after 16th December and I didn’t get my Collector bonus despite activating the offer and spending 4 out of 5 weeks. What shall I do?

Q. Where can I track my weekly progress?

A. Great news! You can track your progress on the My Morrisons App and Website, please ensure you log in with the same details as your usual Morrisons account. You can download the Free App via your app store Google Play or Apple App Store.

Q.Why am I not part of the Christmas Promotion this year?

A. We’re running a variety of fantastic promotions this Christmas, so don’t worry if you’ve not received Christmas Collector as we’ll also be running Coupons at Till and Email promotions so keep your eyes peeled and keep scanning your My Morrisons Card so that future promotions can be tailored to you and your shopping habits

Christmas Collector at Till FAQs

Q. How does the Christmas Coupons at Till scheme work?

A. Customers will receive a print of 4 weekly stretch spend coupons. The customers need to spend the required amount each week in one transaction in store, swipe the My Morrisons card and coupon at checkout to receive money off that weeks shop. If the customers completed all 4 weeks they will receive a £5 bonus coupon in week 5.

Q. How do I use my Christmas Collector at till coupons?

A. Please take the coupon valid for that particular shop with you to store and ask the cashier or self check-out assistant to scan the coupon when you shop along with your My Morrisons Card. The validity dates are on the top right corner of each of the coupons.

Q. Can I split my spend over several smaller shops rather than in just one transaction?

A. No, as a customer part of the Christmas Coupons at Till Campaign you will need to spend the required amount in one transaction in store to receive money off your shop.

Q. When do I get my Christmas Collector Bonus?

A. When you have completed 4 weekly shops using your coupons at till you will qualify for the bonus offer. The bonus will then print in store from the 14th December. You will have until the 3rd January 2023 to redeem your bonus offer.

Q. What happens if I lose my card / my card is stolen?

A. You can request a new physical card via the App or your online account.

A. Please let Customer Services in store know. They will be able to manually print your coupons for you at one of the checkouts. They will need to scan your My Morrisons Card and a barcode at the till – new coupons will then be printed.
