With the opportunity to get together with friends and family again this Christmas, why not splash out on this Premier Cru Champagne? Only 18% of the vineyards in Champagne are allowed to use the coveted Premier Cru status. We use a high proportion of Pinot Noir in ours to give rich baked apple and toast flavours.

The Best Prosecco Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG

Sourced from the beautiful hills around the pretty village of Valdobbiadene, this is sure to delight Prosecco lovers this Christmas. The Valdobbiadene hills produce the best quality grapes in the region giving delightfully perfumed pear and apple fruit flavours.

The Best English Sparkling 2010 vintage

Stunning value and a fantastic alternative to Champagne this Christmas. An outstanding English fizz with rich, complex nutty flavours earned from many years of ageing in bottle. Delicious with a smoked salmon starter.

The Best Cremant de Limoux Rose

This premium Pinot Grigio is made in the beautiful Alpine Alto Adige region. We use grapes grown at high altitude on low yielding vines in the foothills of the Dolomites in northern Italy to make this exceptional Italian white. Delicious with spicy foods during the party season.

The Best Clementine Bucks Fizz

Tangy and refreshing with even more Christmassy Clementine juice flavour this year. Perfect to get Christmas day underway with a sparkle!

The Best Gavi di Gavi - NEW

From grapes grown in the best part of the region of Gavi in northern Italy, near the town of Gavi itself. With enticing aromas of white peach with flavours of apple, fresh lime and a hint of almond, this is delicious with antipasti and party nibbles.

The Best Albarino - NEW IMPROVED

From the cool region of Galicia in north-western Spain this is a refreshingly zesty white with mouthwatering minerality. Perfect with seafood dishes this Christmas.   

 

The Best South Africa Sauvignon Blanc

As a delicious alternative to New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc why not give this fabulously refreshing South African version a go? With fresh fig and guava flavours, this is the perfect partner to smoked salmon starters and creamy pasta dishes.

The Best Uco Valley Reserve Chardonnay

One of the best value white wines in our The Best range! Produced high up in the foothills of the Andes with tangerine and peach fruit flavours and a delicate creamy edge. Delicious with smoked salmon starters and with enough mouth-watering acidity to stand up to all the flavours of Christmas lunch.

The Best Barossa Shiraz NEW and GOLD

A really exciting new addition to the Morrisons range this is textbook Australian Shiraz from the region that does this grape variety the best - the Barrosa Valley! Full-bodied with blackberry, plum and a hint of spice, this wine was awarded a much coveted GOLD medal immediately on launch in October! Perfect with the turkey.   

The Best Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon NEW

Another new Australian addition to the Morrisons range this year, this time from the Coonawarra region - the area famed for producing delicious blackcurrant scented Cabernet Sauvignon with a hint of fresh mint. Perfect with hearty winter casseroles or a chunk of extra mature farmhouse cheddar at the end of the meal.

We were delighted to pick up a GOLD medal last year for our Barolo. A robust Italian Christmas favourite with floral aromas, flavours of dried cherries and a savoury, spicy finish. Perfect with Christmas lunch, game pie and rich casseroles.

The Best Garnacha NEW

A lovely new addition to our Spanish range. Wonderfully fresh and elegant with concentrated red berries, wild tobacco and subtle hints of French oak. Ideal with roast gammon and full flavoured cheeses.

The Grande Finale

The Best Amarone GOLD IWC

Hand-picked grapes are dried for at least 3 months and the resultant wine is aged in large oak barrels for 24 months and in bottle for a further 12 months before release. It's rich and intense, with flavours of black cherry and vanilla and perfect with strong cheeses and wintery casseroles. A GOLD medal winner in the International Wine Challenge last year for the second year running!

The Best Botrytis Semillon SILVER IWC

Unctuous Australian dessert wine made in the same way as Sauternes, with honey, lemon and candied apricot flavours. Delicious with Christmas pudding or Christmas Cake.

 

The Best 10 Year Old Tawny Port SILVER IWC & DWWA

With aromas of toasted nuts and complex flavours of dried fruits and toffee, it's a delight to linger over at the end of any Christmas feast or to savour on a cold dark evening. Try it straight from the fridge with a full flavoured cheddar or a Christmas pud. It was a double Silver award winner last year as well!
