Burns Night is celebrated every year by Scots around the world - and falls on the 25th January. In memory of Scotland's national poet, Robert (Rabbie) Burns, the day 'raises a dram' to the Scottish bard's life and his many poems - which include Auld Lang Syne, Address To A Haggis, and The Selkirk Grace which is traditionaly read before Burns Night Food is served for supper...

Some hae meat and canna eat,
And some wad eat that want it;
But we hae meat and we can eat,
Sae let the Lord be Thankit!
