What is Christmas Savers?

Christmas Savers is a Christmas saving scheme for More card customers. It allows you to purchase digital stamps throughout the year to help spread the cost of Christmas. At the end of October your balance for the year will be totalled and you will be issued Christmas Savers vouchers to use in-store or an e-code to use online, in November - December. Once you meet certain stamp thresholds, Morrisons will also give you a bonus towards your total.

Do I have to be a Morrisons More card holder to sign up to Christmas Savers?

Yes. Your digital Christmas Saver stamps will be linked to your registered Morrisons More account. You can sign up to a Morrisons More account here. If you sign up to Morrisons More but do not register your card you will still be able to buy Christmas Saver stamps however you will not be able to view your balance or receive your bonus and vouchers.

I have a More card but I have not set up an online account. Can I still sign up to Christmas Savers?

If you registered for More by paper, you won't have an online account automatically. Although you will be able to buy digital Christmas Saver stamps in-store, you won’t be able to see your balance or receive your bonus and vouchers from Morrisons. You can get an online account set up - just head over to the Morrisons More account page.

What happens if I continue to buy digital Christmas Saver stamps after 31st October?

Your Christmas Saver stamps and bonus will be totalled at midnight on 30th October 2017. If you buy any digital Christmas Saver stamps after this point, they will go towards your Christmas 2018 balance.

My More card has been stolen, can I have a new one and will my balance be transferred?

Of course - just login to your Morrisons More account and select 'Replace / Cancel card' from the main page, then click 'Block & Report as Lost / Stolen'. You can then click 'Add / Request card' to have a replacement sent to your home. Doing this means the lost or stolen card becomes invalid and can't be used, and all your More Points and Christmas Saver stamps will be transferred to your new card.

Do I earn Morrisons More Points when I buy digital Christmas Saver stamps?

No, you will not earn More Points when you buy Christmas Saver stamps.

Where can I view how much I have saved for Christmas so far?

You can view your Christmas Savers balance on your online Account page; you will see a breakdown of the stamps you have saved so far, and any Christmas Savers bonus you have qualified for. If you have downloaded the Morrisons More app you will also be able to view your balance in the Christmas Savers Account tab.

I've forgotten my More card – can I still buy Christmas Saver stamps?

No. The digital Christmas Saver stamps are linked to your More card and therefore to make a purchase you need to scan your More card at the same time.

What happens if I decide I no longer want to be a Christmas Saver?

You can opt out of Christmas Savers any time before 31st October 2018. If you choose to opt out and have Christmas Saver stamps in your account, these will be transferred into your Morrisons More account as More Points. Unfortunately you will not receive any Morrisons bonus you may have qualified for.

Purchasing digital Christmas Saver stamps

Where can I buy digital Christmas Saver stamps?

Digital Christmas Saver stamps are available from all Morrisons stores*. To buy, ask the cashier for the amount you want to purchase in digital Christmas Saver stamps and scan your Morrisons More card to link the stamps to your account. Digital Christmas Saver stamps can be purchased in denominations of £1's. Once you have purchased digital Christmas Saver stamps, they will appear on your account within 72 hours. *Excludes Morrisons Daily and Gibraltar.

I have been saving for Christmas using the Christmas Saver stamp card. Can I exchange my physical stamps for digital stamps?

Yes you can exchange your physical Christmas Saver stamps for digital Christmas Saver stamps.

  • If you are a Morrisons More card holder all you need to do is take your Christmas Saver stamp booklet to the Customer Services kiosk at your local store and ask them to change your physical stamps to digital stamps. These will then be transferred into your Christmas Savers account.
  • If you are not a Morrisons More card holder you will need to register for an account in-store or online. Once you have a registered Morrisons More card, all you need to do is take your Christmas Saver stamp booklet to the Customer Services kiosk at your local store and ask them to change your physical stamps to digital stamps. These will then be transferred into your Christmas Savers account.

Christmas Saver voucher preferences and bonus

Am I eligible for a Christmas Saver bonus?

Customers that are still Christmas Savers up until (31st October 2018) will be eligible to receive their Christmas Savers bonus from Morrisons.

  • £49 = £1 total bonus
  • £97 = £3 total bonus
  • £146 = £4 total bonus
  • £194 = £6 total bonus

Morrisons will give a maximum bonus of £6. You can continue to save with Christmas Savers after reaching £194 however you will not receive any further bonus from Morrisons.

At what point does my Christmas Saver bonus become valid?

Your Christmas Savers bonus will be awarded to your account on 31st October 2018. Your bonus will be included in your Christmas Savers vouchers issued from 5th November 2018.

When can I use my Christmas Savers vouchers?

Christmas Savers vouchers are redeemable between 6th November - 31st December 2018.

How will I receive my Christmas Savers vouchers?

In order to receive your Christmas Savers vouchers you firstly need to set your preferences as either collect in-store or send via e-code. You will be prompted to do this upon first log in - but you can update your preferences at any point before 31st October 2018. If you select to collect your vouchers in-store, your Christmas Savers vouchers will print after your next shop from 5th November 2018. If you have opted to receive vouchers via e-code, you can request your code at any point from 6th November and will be sent this via email to use online.

What happens if I am sent my Christmas Saver vouchers but my preferences are not updated?

If you have not updated your preferences before 31st October 2018, your voucher preferences will automatically be set to collect in-store.

How do I collect my Christmas Savers vouchers in-store?

You can collect your Christmas Savers vouchers the next time you shop from 5th November 2018. All you need to do is scan your Morrisons More card at the till when shopping and your Christmas Savers vouchers will print ready for you to use the next time you come to store.

What happens if I want to save my £5 More vouchers but not for Christmas?

You can change your voucher preferences so that you can request them whenever you like. It’s really simple to make the switch, simply select ‘change voucher preferences’ from your online account page and pick of these two options:

  • 'I want to use my vouchers in store', and then select 'I want to save my vouchers until I request them'
  • Alternatively, select 'I want to use my vouchers online'. You can then request an e-code when you are ready to use your points

Please note that you can't use online vouchers in store, or vice versa.

More for Students FAQs

What is More for Students?

More for Students is a club created for University studentswho are also More card customers. Members will receive benefits throughout the year such as extra More Points promotions, competitions, free products and discounts.

How do I become a More for Students Member?

To sign up to More for Students you firstly need to be a valid More card member. You can then register for More forStudents here [insert web address] and then you will need to verify your account with your .ac.uk student email address. There are instructions on how to do this when entering your details. Once you have done this, an email with a click to activate link will then be sent to your studentUniversity email address. Once you have activated this link and your account has been verified you will be a confirmed More for Students member. Please note, although you will need to activate your More for Students account using yourstudent email address, you can register for a More card using any preferred email address.

Do I have to be a student to join More for Students?

Yes - More for Students is a club especially designed for University students. You must have a valid university email address ending with .ac.uk that you can use to verify your account.

When will I get my 5,000 More Points for signing up to More for Students?

You will receive your 5,000 More Points within 72 hours of registering for More for Students. The 5,000 More Points offer is valid until 31st October 2018 (please see Terms and Conditions for further information).
