In each of our stores, we have a Community Champion. These amazing colleagues support our local communities - something that's really important to us at Morrisons. So we thought we'd introduce you to a few of them.

Meet our Community Champions...

Meet Sheena from our Peterhead store

Sheena has done a huge amount of fundraising for Young Lives vs Cancer reaching over £88,000 for the charity! This whopping figure is a huge amount for one store alone, helping us collectively get to a total of £15 million for the charity so far. What a fantastic achievement!

Meet Alex from our Leamington Spa Store

As part of her role with us, Alex has organised Christmas kindness shoeboxes, in which she handed out 200 boxes filled with presents to everyone from newborns right through to a 107-year old! She's also organised a uniform and stationery bank and handed out pizza kits to combat hunger in half term.

From sponsored walks to responding to the needs of the commuity, Alex certainly goes above and beyond.

Meet Simon from our Cromer Store

Simon's main focus as the Community Champion at our Cromer store is combatting hunger. In the last year, is store has provided a whopping £40,200 worth of groceries to those in need, through food parcels, food bank donations, breakfast clubs and much more. Simon was also instrumental in handing over the key for a new mini bus for the community - what an incredible achievement!

Meet Rachel from our Rogerstone Store

Meet Rachel, the Community Champion at our Rogerstone Store. Recently, Rachel's been working hard to bring beautiful blooms to the community, from donating bulbs to local schools to tend to, to helping develop and maintain a beautiful memorial garden with the Royal British Legion. Rachel's also helped out with food bank donations and even giving away Easter eggs - want a fantastic way to support the community.
