Each and every apple in our apple pies is picked by hand

Robert Mitchell grows some of the apples that go into our apple pies on his farm in Kent. His family have been growing fruit on this farm for over 100 years. His apples are hand-picked on his 200-acre farm. 4,000 tonnes each autumn. Helping ensure our products are the best quality they can be.

“Bramley Apples only grow commercially in this country, and they love the mix of sunshine and rain we get. The cycle starts in November or December, then we get to spring and everything comes to life. The trees come into this wonderful blossom, and those little bases of each flower turn into apples. We carefully nurture those baby apples until September when it’s harvest time, and then we have a huge crew of people who pick the whole farm by hand.”
